Effective September 29, 2026. This policy explains how Nova Ohio Telephone LLC, d/b/a Nova Telephone, collects and uses information about our customers.

Information we collect

Name, service and billing address, phone number, email address, account and service details, call detail records, and payment information. Card and bank details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To provide, maintain and bill for service; to respond to support requests; to provide 911 and directory services as required; to protect our network and prevent fraud; and to comply with law.

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

Information about the telephone services you use and your calling records is protected under federal law (47 U.S.C. § 222). We will not use or disclose your CPNI for marketing without your consent, and we verify your identity before discussing call detail records.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as payment processing, billing and network vendors), with 911 and emergency services, and when required by law or legal process.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for service, billing and legal requirements.
